This is what we do it for
As a fair-trade gift shop in Zoetermeer, we believe in the power of entrepreneurship. We pay a fair price for every product, enabling the producer to earn a living wage and support their family. This is how we stimulate development from within!

Our turnover in 2025 was 86,221 euros. Approximately 25% of that goes to the creators.
That may seem little, but it is much more than in commercial trade, where the creator receives only 3–10%.

Felt, Scarves, and more from Nepal
Colourful, warm, and meaningful. It started with scarves, but this organisation now provides work for 2,700 women in Nepal and makes many felt products in addition to scarves. The Pietermuis and felt birds have become household names in the Netherlands. Thanks to SjaalmetVerhaal, the men and women are building independent lives and a secure future for their families. With these fashion accessories and decorations, you make the world a little more beautiful.
Unique jewelry from Africa
The Kazuri jewelry collection consists of handmade and hand-painted ceramic jewelry from Kenya, East Africa. The beautiful, unique beads are made from clay sourced from the area around Mount Kenya, making the product authentic to the region. Each bead is shaped and glazed by hand, then crafted into unique jewelry!
Bronze sculptures from Africa
Unique sculptures made of bronze. The process begins with a hand-sculpted beeswax model. It is coated with clay. In the kiln, the clay hardens and the beeswax melts. The bronze is then poured into the mold. This is a highly labor-intensive process requiring experience and craftsmanship. Many sculptures symbolize family, happiness, or cooperation. This way, you truly have a meaningful sculpture in your home.
